Thank you all so much for your condolences and support. Very helpful and yes I learned I had to reach out to friends and family for help. I could not do it all and I am very thankful to have such good support as we had as we dealt with Dad's illness and passing.

We buried my Dad last Thursday. It was pouring rain for 2 days and just a disgusting mess at the cemetery but before hand we had a lovely luncheon where those who were friends and family could gather and pay their respects to Dad. The funeral while sad sent Dad off, a die hard Tennessee VOLS fan (he graduated with and EE in the 60's from there) with the appropriate Rocky Top. All were sporting orange ribbons or some other blaze orange accessory to show their support of my Dad and his normal attire of blaze orange. There is still much to wrap up helping my mom navigate the finances and minutia after a spouse's death.
