Baby Giraffe Turns 4!

The baby giraffe is not so baby any more - she turned for on 4/30, so I thought I'd clean her up, put on her big girl bridle and get some photos for posterity. I think she is about 16.3 now; if she adds a little up front and stops and 17h I'll be happy.

She is definitely one of the more unique personalities I've ever worked with. She is super smart, bold and opinionated. She thinks lunging is the stupidest thing ever. Hopefully she has a better opinion of riding.

There are days when might take you up on that (like when she decides to argue about picking up her feet for the millionth time ).

She is registered with Westfalian as Dame du Couer. By Don Deluxe (DeNiro) out of a Weltmeyer mare to whom she owes her unique personality.
