The other side of Clanter's post

Postby Don Giovanni » Thu Nov 19, 2015 5:33 pm

Clanter's post about the dog motivating his daughter's class to do well made me think of this article I saw today. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/09/05/johns-hopkins-masters-degree-dog_n_3875440.html
I think it's fantastic that Johns Hopkins did this!! (and I love the little cap and gown)

Aimee's Golden is a Reading Therapy Dog ... she is trained to focus her attention on a child who is trying to read aloud (like that took all of about thirty seconds for Sucha to learn) .... but Sucha likes being with the kids.

But I believe the kid's favorite is Romeo

it helps when you have a principal who kind of turns a blind eye to some activities and also have the support of other teachers who cover the activity as you lead a miniature horse through a school and up the handicap ramps to the third floor
