He was such a good boy yesterday. At the barn where I board there is a trick riding team. Last night I was riding while they were roman riding two teams of two horses each. The ring is not huge and we were doing our best to stay out of each other's way. They were jumping 4 abreast, circling, knocking jumps down, yelling, falling off, all the while loud music is playing.
My boy just kept his head, listened to me and kept working. He completely ignored the massive chaos going on in the indoor and did exactly what I asked of him. No spooking, no stink eye, just good, consistent work. He was soft and forward. I was so proud of him!!

Good boy! I know you gave him major pats and carrots. I would have had a major breakdown.

Re: Brag on my horse!
That is nice, and kudos to you too, you must have been able to stay relaxed and worked too.
Re: Brag on my horse!
Exactly! I think I would have been so distracted myself...so good for both of you!
Re: Brag on my horse!
That says a lot about BOTH of you!
