Christmas card exchange 2020

Postby PaulaO » Tue Oct 20, 2020 5:36 pm

It's time! This is my favorite tradition. I love sending and receiving cards. If you wish to participate, send me a PM with your board name, your real name, mailing address, and email. Note if you are willing to send international cards. I will send the list via email in Word format. Cards do not have to be picture cards, although we all love to see your animals.

Cards in January are fine. We need cheer in the dark month of January.

Paula, I sent you a PM last Friday with my info, but it still seems to be in my Outbox. Would you check your Inbox and let me know if you received it, please?

I have resent my info. Would you be able to send the list through by Nov 13? That way it would give me time to my cards mailed to the US for delivery before Christmas. Cheers!

If you ever want something put up as an announcement, don't hesitate to email or PM me. I don't always see these in time.
I will be away for two weeks this December so I am not sure I can get Christmas cards out.

Well, Chance - sometimes these morph into New Year's cards, which is fine with me. I enjoy getting a bit of cheer in January, too. And, there are 12 days of Christmas. Just saying!

I received my first card today from Kirby's Keeper, so Christmas season has officially arrived here! Yay!

The mail service in Canada must be really fast this year :D

Hi Canyon. Glad to hear that you received your card. Canada Post was warning about delays this year so I made sure I got the cards out as early as possible.

I received my first card from PaulaO. Thanks!

KK, I actually got your pretty card several days ago, so Canada seems to be on the fast track! No telling when my cards will reach their recipients. I added extra postage so they would not "go through the machine and get torn up" per postal clerk, since they are thicker than standard cards. The way she smacked the warning stamp on each envelope probably did more damage than the "postal machine" would've, not that her stamp is even visible! Par for the course this year ;) Fingers crossed.....

@texsuze - I received your beautiful card yesterday; the amazing quilling was not damaged!

Now I need to get my rather ordinary cards mailed.

Ahhh, thanks for the update, Canyon! One down, a few more to go! And no card that is sent in the holiday spirit would be considered ordinary, especially this year :)
