Our Long Awaited Arrival!

Postby PhoenixRising » Thu Jan 14, 2021 5:37 pm

I’m so excited to finally announce,
Baby Gilbert has made his appearance!
Born on his due date, 1/10/21
8lbs 13oz and 20 1/2 inches long.
We are both doing well. Healing for me is going to be much more intensive than I’d hoped, but thankfully I have lots of help.
He’s everything I ever imagined and I’m soaking everything in.

Congratulations! Welcome to the World, Gilbert! (You share a birthday with my youngest grandson, Ben, who is a year older than you!)

Congratulations!! Welcome to baby Gilbert!!

Glad all went well. Take the time you need. It’s a steep learning curve for the first baby.

Our family is awaiting a new bundle at the end of the month. My niece is due 1-29. Her first and a baby girl. It’s been stressful dealing with the pandemic.

just adorable, and I am one of those weirdos who think baby animals are cute and baby humans less so! but Gilbert is very cute.

I was going to type enjoy every moment, but then I stopped and thought, remember hormones Flux horribly after pregnancy, watch out for depression, and rest when he rests. don't get caught in the trap of trying to get everything done when he is asleep and then being exhausted when he is awake.

congratulations. the love is just tremendous

Congratulations! You are on another wonderful journey that like all others will have its ups and downs; but, having seen two into adulthood who are both pretty decent people, well, I would do it all over again (though two were definitely enough for me LOL). Gilbert is a cutie.
