Things we see, things we do

Postby Anne » Mon Jan 02, 2023 11:12 pm

I thought it might be fun to share some photos of stuff we see around home, walking, riding, wherever, and/or any other random photos.

I'll kick off with a few pictures of our ride yesterday, our 'beach boys' turned into 'bush boys', as we went for a 2 hour ride up a 4wd track in a local
native forest area. It was very peaceful, plenty of bird life, and a few challenges in the form of large muddy puddles across the track. Getting across the first large one involved wet feet for me (I had to hop off and lead Connor across), after that, they were still suspicious but at least went forward when asked. Just nice to be 'out and about'.

Would love to see any photos you guys want to share!

What a wonderful resource to have at hand - I'd like to hope it is as good for their minds to have a walkabout in nature as it is for our minds.

Not horse related.
I started deer hunting this year to try to help feed us this year with all the rising costs.
I’m hunting on my uncles land about an hour north from me.
I couldn’t resist the way the sun filtered through the frosty trees early this morning.
I also have a video clip when the sun was in just the right spot, it was illuminating particles in the air and it looked like the air was sparking.

PR, those are lovely pics, and I hope you had a successful hunt. It's a great thing, to provide food for the family, and all power to you.

Here's my local beach last night, on my evening dog-walk:

Chisamba, you need to share more pictures of your Bully!
Also, you are a very talented sketch artist.
