Awkward moments

Have you ever come upon a situation that is likely legitimate, but the exact moment that you came upon it, it looked like it could have been something completely different than what was actually going on?
Last night, I was editing photos from a GCYBR event (bull riding), and I came upon this:
Now, while I know these guys are not molesting a sheep, it does look suspect. In reality, the sheep had gotten a rope tangled around him and the rodeo clown was trying to untangle him, but he kept jumping around.
While I did not post this on my photography page, I did post it to my personal page with the caption, "I'm not sure what these guys are doing to this sheep, but I'm fairly certain that it is illegal in at least 3 states". They seem to have gotten a kick out of it.
Surely some of you guys have had some strange encounters worth sharing.
