I have not seen it yet. I will see it in a little theater in a little ocean-side town with none of the high tech whiz bang features of big city theaters. I am prepared to enjoy the music, the movie craft and the two new , young stars.

I will take a kleenex for a sad bit I know is coming.

I am not a fanatic, I am not a "trekkie type" but I feel this is one of those movies you have to see because it is culturally linked. I didn't see 1/2/3 but of course we all saw 4/5/6 back in the day

Lol at the elevator joke.

We call them 'lift's here.

Always be parsimonious with the syllables when naming stuff.

I saw it last night.

Perhaps not the best movie in the history of the world, but it was not boring.
Fun actually.

Fun is okay for a movie.

DH and I have been talking today about how Han Solo and Leia produced such a homely child.
DH thinks that Chewy may have been involved.

Yeah.
He does have that Snape thing going on.

Perhaps Leia was having an affair with Alan Rickman?

I saw it 2 nights ago and really enjoyed it. So so glad they kept it more in line with the original 3 and not the "first 3" where they went tech overload.

As already said it was a fun movie - just good old entertainment :)

I'm going Saturday. My son is taking me as my Christmas present since my husband doesn't really care for the franchise. I'm excited and I'm not reading any of the above posts in case there are spoilers!
