Broken arm

Postby dasher » Mon Dec 21, 2015 4:57 pm

Merry Christmas to me!
I was putting out round bales of hay yesterday and was doing something really stupid. I knew it was stupid when I was doing it, so I decided to stop doing the stupid thing by doing something even more stupid.
I fell on my left side and broke my arm.
I don't see the ortho Dr until Thursday.
Now I have to figure out how to run the farm and pet sitting business one handed.
I hate being stupid!

Update:
I now have a lovely multi color cast for the holidays. Minimally displaced fracture of the radius bone right above the wrist. Go back in two weeks for a follow up and new cast. The Doc was more concerned with the significant arthritis in my thumb than the break. I am managing all my chores with the help of family and friends. Thank God for them!
