Can we start one? I really enjoy the medium, not just for entertainment, but also construction, provocation and most of all, how DH and I sit out on the morning after and talk about it.

My undergrad degree is in Film Studies (which is how I ended up a librarian--no jobs for film studies majors!). I confess I don't go to many current movies, but won't give up cable because I would lose TCM. And for the record, I HATE Citizen Kane despite having seen it umpty times. It DOES NOT get better with repeated watchings, but I will admit the cinematography is brilliant.
