Amazon Problems?

Postby Tarlo Farm » Tue Mar 15, 2016 1:59 pm

I've had the hardest time with Amazon lately, specifically trying to buy anything from the pet section. The item won't load, just get the spinning wheel. Anyone else?

Judging by my 5 packages that I was just checking the status on, I would say no issue. LOL.

I will say that I had that issue on my old work computer though. I assumed it was a computer or internet issue on my end, as I never have this problem at home.

Are you using an outdated browser? I get the spinning wheel at work when I use IE instead of Mozilla/Magilla/Firefox/Foxfire whatever it is.

Girl, you and me both! My only Amazon problem is a lack of impulse control.

Safari here too, and relatively new computer. But I am out in the boonies. I can link into anything else on Amazon just fine, but a month ago I tried to order a safety harness for Clay, and just now tried to get a tick collar. No go. Oh well, the "Wags and Whiskers" store should be open soon.

If I do have issues with Safari (other sites and often PayPal which I detest anyway), I use Chrome...

RTR, impulse control??? What is that

How many of you are Prime members? I've been trying since I posted this and still no luck.

I am not a Prime member, but not for lack of trying on Amazon's part.

I am an Amazon Prime member and I have had no problems whatsoever.

I am a long time Prime member too. When I had issues at work with IE and Amazon, I would switch to Chrome (like WMW) and that seemed to help.

WMW-I know right? Impulse control, filter from brain to mouth, I'm missing it all. lol

You might try clearing cookies/cache. Or open an incognito window and try from there.

It sounds like a browser issue, not website.

Long time Prime also :)

RTR... you and I would get along just fine and go broke in a hurry ;)

If you've got a computer store or a tech geek you can go to to analyze the problem, I'd do that. You can have them update your browser and check whatever else might be producing the glitch. It could be your choices for settings. Good luck!

I just had a major hassle w/trying to download high-resolution topographic maps from Garmin. Turned out it was my phone line (wasn't bundled line that could handle multi-meg files) and my computer needed to have its settings adjusted so it wouldn't go to sleep during a loooonnnng download... (several hours).

Only Amazon, only pet supplies. Not a Prime member. I imagine it would be faster if I were. :D

Ordered some items off Amazon site yesterday and no problems. I am not a Prime member. I do clear cookies weekly.
