Official Rolex thread

Postby PaulaO » Mon Mar 28, 2016 1:44 pm

Just checked the entry list and OMG my 2 fave eventers are entered. Blyth Tait and Mark Todd. I'm gonna die. Was there for both of their inaugural rides, and watched BT win in 2000. I wasn't planning on staying for Sunday's show jumping but I may have to now.

Oh Man! Seriously! I also watched Blyth Tait win at Rolex in 2000. I wonder if I can get Michael to go to Rolex this year.

Where are you seeing the entry list?

www.rk3de.org Under Competition--Schedule--Entries. You can come alone, and hang with me and whoever else shows up.

I'm missing Rolex this year, SO is flying here, in lieu of going to The Event at Rebecca Farm in July, in Montana.

Have fun you guys! I will always love Rolex!

Yeah, but there are no more tickets for the show jumping....Ah well....Frankly, I can't go anyway because that is the weekend of a charity auction I am working on.......

I don't have a ticket for show jumping. If I stay on Sunday, I'll watch it on the Jumbotron in the trade fair.

Not going, but always enjoy following the news and whatnot. Safe travels to everyone going!

One of my favorite things is reading Eventing Nation's list of OTTB's competing. Fun to see their histories:

Friend of mine and I are going. We have an extra ticket for Show Jumping if you want to buy it. Her daughter couldn't stay for the last day.

Maybe we should arrange a meet up?

I'll be in the Black Country Saddlery stand all week. If there's gonna be a meet up, please let me know!

No. stirrups, I'll stop by and say hi. I've been kinda saying meet up Friday at Bob Mickler's after dressage. I hear they have a drinks tent.
