Boogers

Postby Tuddy » Wed May 30, 2018 3:54 pm

Yonka caught himself some boogers while he was at the trainers in March. It has been lingering. When the vet came out to do coggins tests, he looked at the discharge, listened to his lungs and pretty much said it was viral, and had to run its course. He did recommend 5 days of uniprim to see if the nasal stuff would clear up. I did a 6 day course, no boogers for three days, and this morning - boogers.

Any magic home remedies folks? Tips to help the guy get rid of it or am I stuck on self quarantine until it runs its course? I want to start lessons, but don't want to trailer the boogers off the farm.

Not to scare you, but Obie had persistent snots and it ended up being a sinus cyst. He was prescribed SMZs when we initially thought it was a cold.
Keep calm and canter on.

I am going to pick up a bottle of Exceed tomorrow as per my vet. Now Tuddy has the same green snot that Yonka has. Fun. Fun. Fun.
