Massage

Does anyone have recommendations for a decent equine massage school? I’ve heard of Equinology and Equissage. Are there any others? Anyone have experience with Equissage?

Masterson Method has workshops all over the place (various instructors). I'm thinking of taking the weekend course, which is a pre-requisite to the full 5-day workshop.
Keep calm and canter on.

The bodyworker I used for my ponies learned the Masterson Method and she does a really great job with my two. If nothing else, the horses love the time she spends with them. And with the newer pony who cam a bit of a mess, I can see visible changes from before and after her work

I would study Masterson. His work is so easy to learn and so effective and requires less knowledge with a still strong return.

I have one of his books and played around with it with my horses. I wasn’t sure if that was a stand alone type practice or something that went with other massage.

I also used a Masterson Method body worker - she also used some other methods as well, and my horse loved it! She helped work out the tightness in her hindquarters.

I am certified and have a small business, I think those are good schools. Masterson is good but it's a bit more simplistic.

Ryeissa: What school did you learn from? I checked into Masterson. It would cost $5500 not including books and the travel/lodging required for me to attend!
