Suggestions for English endurance or trekking saddle

Postby LindaJ » Thu Jan 03, 2019 8:11 pm

I have a friend who is looking for an English endurance or trekking saddle. Does anyone have any suggestions? I haven’t ridden or had a need to look for one so I have no info to help with. I know she’s not looking for a regular Dressage saddle.

Thanks for any help! :)

The only one I've ridden in personally was a Black Country Equinox. I loved it as a dressage saddle on my larger horse, and they come with serge (wool felt) panels, which are more breathable than leather, make the saddle lighter, and mold to the back well. BC also offers the Celeste, which has a regular flap instead of the monoflap on the Equinox.

I think Lovatt & Ricketts/Arabian Saddle Co. makes one too.
Keep calm and canter on.

Thank you so much for the input :) I have a Black Country Eden Dressage and it’s great quality. Fits really well too
