Stirrup leathers

Postby PaulaO » Tue Aug 30, 2016 3:17 pm

Of course my dressage leathers are too long for my a/p saddle (plus they are black and we can't have that). It seems all leathers are now nylon lined, covered in leather. Is that a thing now? I rode my leathers for 20 years and they never stretched. Recommendations for decent leathers (54 inches, brown) that won't break the bank?

Beautiful work. Reasonably priced. You won't be disappointed.

Maybe check the classifieds of the DDBB, or post a 'wanted' ;)

KL Select makes nice leathers that are reasonable. Horsefare makes less pricey ones and if you want the slim line type with the metal riveted tops, Black Oak by KL Select are great as are Harmohnkraft. Prestige makes them also but they are pricier. We have some brown 54" Black Oak ones and the KL and Horsefare among others.
