Bit organization systems

Postby Fatcat » Thu Feb 11, 2016 5:11 pm

I have lots of spare bits that I'd like to have accessible and organized by size/type. I'm thinking of some sort of wall mounted hook system, but am totally open to any ideas. I can't seem to find anything premade that I can purchase, which is my preference.

Any ideas and pictures you can share for how you do this?

Google hook boards and you should find something - firend had something similar to this pic below when selling stock and it worked well.

I hung small hooks about 5 inches below my tack room ceiling and hung individual bits on them. This ran a few feet and was almost decorative. Might not work if you have lots of bits.

Have you checked out Lee Valley? They have so many options. Like:
