It is NOT triple negative breast cancer!
It's Her2+ which means it isn't the easiest one to get rid of but it isn't the hardest one either!
Re: It is NOT triple negative breast cancer!

Well now, that's a darn sight better than it might be!
Re: It is NOT triple negative breast cancer!
Does that mean you are a good candidate for Herceptin? If so, that is very good. Good news! I hope you can enjoy your Thanksgiving a bit more now.

Yes...you have a "target". That is good.
That is what my sister is dealing with. She has tolerated chemo fairly well so far and only has 2 more cycles of chemo then just the Herceptin.
That (no triple negative) is good news.

Re: It is NOT triple negative breast cancer!
Terribly sorry to hear of your diagnosis. It was sort of ironic for me to come and log on today (long time UDBB user but haven't posted much here) and read this as I am recovering right now from a bilateral mastectomy. My cancer IS triple negative, and I had four months of brutal chemo before surgery, which was Monday. If there is anything I can do to help, or any questions I can answer, let me know. I hope you have an excellent care team! Best of luck to you!

HaltatG,
I'm so tired of waiting for test after test. Let's just get this treatment underway.

Trust me, I know how you feel. I feel like I had every test known to man. I also very much relate to feeling out of control. I have a wonderful female surgeon which I'm thankful for because I got really tired of having men tell me what to with my body, especially when all the options seem like bad ones.
I hope all your tests come back clean

Keep your chin up and a postive attitude and get used to your days not being your own.
I have found this forum a very good source of information on everything to do with breast cancer.
