A sad postscript

Postby Moutaineer » Fri Jul 07, 2017 4:19 pm

We got up this morning to find Osiris had died in the night.

He'd been cheerful and sociable yesterday evening, eaten his dinner with gusto, and was generally being a happy cat.

I can only assume that his great adventure was too much for his heart.

I'm glad we were able to spring him from the shelter and give him some good months.

I'm so sorry. It's hard, but you gave him a wonderful last few months. He died knowing he was safe and loved. What more can any of us ask for.

oh no, that is very sad, perhaps it is why he left. Cats have been known to leave home to die if they sense the time is near. My sympathies on your loss.

Oh no! I'm so sorry for your loss.

It seems to be the month for mysterious deaths. I have a few friends who have found their pets/farm animals deceased, who were just fine the last time they were checked, and just this morning one of my herd was found dead (lionhead bunny).
