I don't know it is, but the horse is lovely!
Re: Who IS the horse of the month for June?
Yay!!! Thanks Chancellor.
That's Boundless, aka Bliss. He's my extremely lovable 6yo Hanoverian by Belissimo M out of an Autocrat mare. I fell in love with his little face when he was about 3 months old, and I drooled over him for a couple years before making the 12 hour drive to go see him in person and buy him. He was extremely privileged to spend the first 2.5 years of his life living with his breeder (Kathleen Richardson of Sunny Days Hanoverians) and running around in large beautiful paddocks with age appropriate herds.
He came home to me when he was 2 and a half. I started him myself lightly in the summer when he was 3, then he had about 8 months off while I had baby No. 1, then he was worked lightly his 4 year old year, then had another 4 months off, and I started him back in the spring when he was 5, and he's been in regular work since then. We showed training level last year with good results (mid to high 60s and a few low 70s), and tested the waters at first level mid summer last year for a 66%. We're not showing this season because I'm pregnant with baby No.2 (due in October). The pics in the banner are from a couple weeks ago.
On a good day we're schooling 2nd and some 3rd, but we mostly work on the very basics - basic figures and transitions. He's not the flashiest mover in the world, but he's athletic, he's got a super temperament, he's brave, he almost never spooks, and (in my totally unbiased opinion ) he's very handsome. We also jump and trail ride (but not when I'm pregnant).
I have a ton of pics (I'll post more on this thread) and also have a youtube channel if anyone is interested in seeing video of him.

Re: Who IS the horse of the month for June?
I thought that was you! I was wondering how he was going and I'm happy to see that he's doing so well. Also congratulations on your second baby.
I love that last picture- it's adorable.

Thanks guys!!
I'm going to keep posting pics because I am shamelessly proud of him (and because I always love seeing other people's pics!!)
Here are a few more of him living the good life at his breeder's.

Re: Who IS the horse of the month for June?
How cool that you knew him as a baby! I love the photos
Re: Who IS the horse of the month for June?
Thanks Flight.
I was in contact with the breeder fairly regularly once I first became interested in him as a baby. She is a wonderful lady and we kept in touch. She would send me pictures and video sometimes even though he wasn't mine. He had been the 2nd favourite of quite a few other people who ended up purchasing their favourite foal from her crop that year. I spoke to a few of her other clients and they all said "If I could have taken two I would have bought Boundless, too". And there was another lady from somewhere else that was interested in him.
Very glad he didn't sell over the next 2 years and that I got him first!!
Some more pics for fun...

And some jumping ones... I am not very good at jumping and am well aware of my positional flaws!! But we both enjoy it.
